On July 3, 2015 Dr. K.B. Chun and Sons held it’s 8th Annual Blood Drive. Hosting a blood drive is no ordinary day for our office. Preparation starts months ahead. Besides signing the donors up for the drive, we reward our volunteer donors with “ono grinds” of all kinds to make a serious event a little less stressful.
This year we set our goal extremely high by having a second bus to collect blood. Helping with this second bus was Boy Scout Troop 329 from Kaneohe. This helped one of the scouts earn his Eagle Rank.
A record setting of 86 pints of blood were collected. This translates to 258 lives saved by this valuable community service project. We look forward to our 9th Annual Blood Drive. Mahalo to everyone who helped out in the cause.
